As you may imagine, photographing puppies is a really special event. It is alway a really fun an enjoyable challenge.
Of course, they are the cutest things ever. I always like to use a prop that will keep them close together. In this portrait I used a basket which worked well. Helpers, what I call wranglers are a critical help keeping the pups close together while I do my thing as the photographer. Working to get and keep their attention looking at the camera while I take the portraits.
Patience is indeed a virtue and in a session with puppies it is extremely important and I am fortunate to have an endless supply.
The reward is when it all comes together in a portrait like this one.
