Why is it that in the portraits I take of my clients with their dogs–they always shine with happiness and have a twinkle in their eyes.
I think the answer is obvious–there is so much love that it just can’t be held back. Of course, my job as a professional portrait photographer with 37 years experience is to show that in the portraits I create for my clients. During the session I make it a point to keep my focus on both owner and pet by giving directions and encouragements to keep the both the pet parent and pet totally engaged and responding to the camera.
As you may imagine (knowing that I have photographed well over 1000 pet and pet/people sessions) I have many ways of making that happen and creating portraits that my clients love and cherish.
