Young family portraits are portraits that can be really fun and exciting, treasured and enjoyed for for years to come. There are certain procedures and philosophies I work to use and follow. First and most important, in my opinion is to make friends with the youngsters. I do this by humor and play so they know I am a friendly and non-threatening person. This also makes them comfortable and keeps them in a good mood where smiles will be easier for me to obtain.
A cozy and comfortable composition, everyone smiling including mom and dad, and the family dog engaged and alert. Their clothing colors work really. Darker colors that are non-distracting and fit the pose so nicely. All these things are what goes in and what makes for a pleasing family portrait.
A family portrait that will be proudly displayed for many years to come.
